People who come to me want to encounter themselves, seek new experiences, want to know and understand themselves better, and wish for change. People who feel stuck somewhere in their lives, in their minds, bodies, relationships, or patterns. Who sense that there could be more, but don't know how to get there. Some feel numb, depressed, stressed, or cut off from themselves. Others keep experiencing the same relationship patterns. Still others are looking for deeper access to their sexuality, want to learn to set boundaries, or want to get in touch with suppressed emotions.

People who come to me ...are just like you. Who have understood a lot about themselves - about their history, patterns, and wounds - and still find that little changes in their lives. Your mind has probably long since analyzed your problems, yet your body keeps responding with fear, tension, withdrawal, or deep exhaustion. Often it is about the effects of trauma or attachment injury, depression, or anxiety. In body-oriented psychotherapy, we gently include your body and nervous system - right where experiences are stored and where change finally becomes possible.

People who come to me ...outwardly often function well or reflect a lot - and inwardly notice that they do not truly feel or understand themselves. People who keep running into limits in contact with themselves or with others. Who experience that their reactions are faster than their conscious intentions. Many have learned to be strong, to adapt, or to achieve a lot. And they are beginning to question what of that truly reflects who they are. They no longer want to just react or optimize themselves, but want to stand more consciously, more authentically, and more presently in their lives.

People who come to me have lost contact with themselves and long for their authentic being/self-expression. Often they feel cut off from their emotions and operate from a place of functioning rather than being with what shows up in them from moment to moment.

People who come to me tried talking therapy and feel they have reached a plateau - they are willing to work with the unconscious mind, messages from their body and heal on a deeper level.
