How does OneSomatic verify training?
We read the certificate from a completed somatic training and compare the name on it with the practitioner’s profile. Only then does the profile show the verified mark next to that training.
What we check
You upload the certificate or completion letter your training institute issued. We compare the name on it with your profile and confirm that the document shows a completed training.
Names change. If your certificate carries an earlier name, such as a maiden name, we confirm from the document that it is yours.
What earns the verified mark
A completed training earns the mark. A training still in progress does not earn the verified mark.
Somatic work takes many forms, so we do not work from a fixed list of methods. A completed, formal training in another body-oriented method can also qualify after we review it. Attendance certificates, coaching titles and weekend courses are not enough on their own.
State licenses
You need a certificate from a completed somatic training. A state license is not required to join.
If you hold one, your page shows it only after we check the state board’s public register. We confirm the name, the state, the license type and that the license is current. License numbers stay private.
What the mark does not mean
A verified profile confirms somatic training. It does not by itself confirm a state license, and it does not rank one program above another.
Practitioners describe how they work in their own words. Those texts are their own statement. OneSomatic is not a therapy provider. Practitioners offer and deliver their own services.
What clients see
The profile shows the seal next to the name of the training we verified. Clients can filter the directory by that training, then ask the practitioner for a free intro call.
Your certificate itself stays private. We never publish the document.

Do I need a state license to join OneSomatic?
No. You need a certificate from a completed somatic training. If you hold a state license, your page shows it after we check the state board’s public register.
Can I get the verified mark while I am still in training?
No. A training still in progress does not earn the verified mark. Send your certificate once you have completed the training.
Can you confirm my training another way?
Some trainings publish a list of their graduates. For Somatic Experiencing, NARM and Hakomi, we can also confirm a completed training from your entry in that list.
Is my certificate shown on my page?
No. Your page names the training we verified. The certificate itself stays private.
