Essential · waitlist
Clients sign your forms before the first session.
With Essential, clients fill in your intake form and sign consent online, and you read the answers before you meet.
Essential is not open yet. People on the waitlist get it first.
What the intake form asks
Essential comes with suggested questions that you can use, change or replace with your own:
- What name would you like me to use?
- What would you like support with?
- What would help you take part in our sessions?
- How would you prefer to meet? Online, in person or either.
- When would you like to start?
- How comfortable do you feel about the first session? 0 means unsure. 10 means comfortable.
What the consent outlines cover
In Essential, the informed consent outline lists what a client should know before you start: your training and what you offer, its risks and benefits, what stays private, and how to stop. There are also outlines for consent to online sessions and for your practice policies, such as fees and cancellations. You write the text for your practice and your state. The outlines are a starting point, not legal advice.
Clients fill in and sign online
With Essential, you send a form to a client before the first session. The client fills it in and signs on their phone or computer, and you read the answers before you meet.
The forms stay with the client's booking
With Essential, each signed form stays with the booking, next to the invoice and your session notes. Answers and signatures are stored encrypted.

Questions people ask.
Can I ask clients to finish the forms before the first session?
Yes. With Essential, you can mark a form as required before the first session. You see which clients still need to fill in or sign a form, so you can remind them before you meet.
Can I use my own questions and consent text?
Yes. With Essential, you can start from the suggested questions and outlines or write your own forms.
Are the consent outlines legally approved?
No. They list what a consent form usually covers. You check the final text against the rules in your state.
Where are the answers stored?
In your Essential portal, with the client's booking. Answers and signatures are stored encrypted.
