With Essential, if a client asks for a superbill, the detailed receipt some clients send to their insurer, it sits next to the session. OneSomatic does not bill insurance.

What is a superbill?
A detailed receipt for a session. A client with out-of-network benefits can send it to their insurer to ask for money back.
Does OneSomatic bill insurance?
No. OneSomatic does not bill insurance and does not handle insurance claims.
Does OneSomatic take a share of my session fees?
No. With Essential, card payments carry Stripe's standard fee, and OneSomatic adds none. Bank transfers (ACH) carry a OneSomatic fee of 0.7%.
Where does the money go?
With Essential, the money goes to your own Stripe account, which pays it out to your bank account.
