Licensed Therapist · Somatic Experiencing
are burdened in your current life by early childhood attachment and developmental disorders. Old adaptive coping patterns are catching up with you today — e.g. in the form of personality accentuations, anxiety and panic, affective disorders, burnout & exhaustion, eating disorders, addictive behavior or somatization, autoimmune and chronic illnesses. On a "smaller" scale, this shows up, for example, in the form of persistent and recurring interpersonal conflicts, a lack of access to emotions or a lack of emotional regulation, old destructive attachment patterns and difficulties connecting, a missing sense of safety, excessively catering to others' needs / over-adaptation, difficulty trusting yourself and others, etc.
Working with attachment and developmental trauma is always, first and foremost, relational work — because these deep wounds arose in interpersonal contact and, from my personal perspective, can only heal in interpersonal contact. Body-oriented trauma therapy consciously invites body, mind, and soul, thereby recreating connection to oneself and to others. First and foremost, what I offer in therapy is a relational offering for new, healing relational experiences.

A checkmark means we have the certificate for that entry on file. How we verify
Having been personally affected, I found my way into the therapeutic field as a second career . . . today, it is a matter truly close to my heart to spare other people my own long journey of suffering as much as possible and, from an early stage, to give body, mind, and soul the space they need to heal through a holistic perspective.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this not for?
People who are (not yet) willing or able to accept that healing is only possible in the entirety of their being, and who are looking for strict instructions, recommendations, and guidelines for action. I deliberately write 'not yet,' as it is not uncommon for people to return to my practice after 1/2 to 2 years of purely cognitive therapy and then be 'ready' for this approach. That does not mean, however, that psychoeducation and top-down processes have no place in my practice — but the fundamental basis of my work is bottom-up processes (which start and arise in the body and nervous system). And yet, it is especially important to me that clients also understand the working approach and how it works. Anyone who expects to change their behaviors in 5 sessions is unfortunately not in the right place . . . because developmental trauma developed over many years, survival patterns have already been lodged in the nervous system for many years, and therefore also need time to change — but when this does happen, the changes are, from my own experience and that of my clients, usually profound and lasting.

How do I know if it's a fit?
Dami Charf), Integrative Somatische Psychologie (n. Raja Selvam), NARM (n.
How often do sessions take place?
